Description: 

Speech Language Pathologist provides for the identification, diagnosis, and remediation of communication disorders to help students achieve maximum benefit from the educational program. This person will be working with students with special needs in a public school setting.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Valid speech/language pathologist license and certificate from both the professional board and the Ohio Department of Education
  • Documentation of a clear criminal record
  • Complies with drug-free workplace rules and board policies

Desired Qualifications:

  • Training and/or experience in behavioral management techniques
  • Training in programming, use and care of assistive and/or augmentative devices
  • Experience in designing and monitoring interventions using a variety of service delivery models
  • to treat and/or address communication disorders

Salary:

Commensurate with experience and in accordance with specified salary schedule

 

Reports To:

Director of Special Education
