Under the direction of the High School Principal, the Assistant Principal is responsible for providing educational leadership and management oversight of building personnel in implementing educational programming, curriculum, instruction, safety and district policies and procedures within the building. Duties include responsibilities for coordinating the supervision, discipline and monitoring of students; assisting in the implementation and enforcement of District policies and procedures; assisting in staff supervision/development; coordinating building attendance records; assisting with student scheduling and student services (i.e. registration, grade reporting, conferences, etc.).
This position is responsible for evening activity supervision as part of job duties. This responsibility is shared between Principal, Assistant Principal and Athletic Director.
