Job Title: (2) ELEMENTARY TEACHERS – JEFFERSON ELEMENTARY Job Description: Full-time (1.0 FTE) 4th & 5th grade elementary teacher at Jefferson Elementary. These positions will commence with the 2012-13 school year on August 27, 2012. Qualifications: The ability to work as a team in planning and teaching, with an emphasis on differentiating instruction and using assessments effectively. Using the Responsive Classroom approach in the classroom consistently by conducting regular class meetings, supportive exchanges and clear expectations. Collaboration with grade level team, special education staff, ELL staff and specialists to develop a positive learning environment. Working and communicating effectively with parents. Support and follow School Board policies and procedures. Be a positive and contributing member of our professional community.
