Requires
a current Montana Educator License with an endorsement in Social Studies (Broadfield).
Working within both Adult Basic and
Literacy Education and Transitions, a high school support & intervention
program
in Social Studies.
Requirements:
·
Ability
to work with students doing on-line, electronic coursework (NovaNET, Skills
Tutor, etc.)
·
Design
individualized academic programs (GED prep, diagnostic-prescriptive, test-out,
alternative credit, credit recovery, standards-based driven by assessment)
·
Implement
mini-lessons and feedback to students in different achievement levels, courses,
and learning paces within the same period and going from student to student
·
Work
with a variety of educational software programs, facilitate group work, and do
direct instruction
·
High
relationship skills with both young and older adults
·
Ability
to work well as part of an intervention team
·
Teach
independent learner skills
·
Ability
to prepare students for GED in the area of science as a reading competency and
review area
