FISCAL SERVICES

REPORTS TO:
Fiscal Services Supervisor
GENERAL FUNCTION:
The file/data entry clerk for the Fiscal
Services department provides clerical and reception support
including answering of telephones, data entry, and
filing.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Ability to
speak in a clear and understandable manner and write
legibly.
2. Ability to
deal effectively with people both in person and on the
telephone.
3. Ability to
use technology applications.
4. Working
knowledge of office procedures and the operation of common
office equipment and machines.
5. Ability to
work as a team player with members of the Fiscal Services
department.
6. Ability to
be aware of the security of the students, staff, and school
property.
7. Ability to
meet daily attendance requirements.
8. Ability to
maintain confidentiality regarding staff and student personal
record
9.
Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding employee
issues, concerns, and/or disciplinary procedures.
10. Ability to
maintain confidentiality regarding student issues, concerns,
and/or disciplinary procedures.
11.
Ability to answer telephones and greet the public in a
friendly and courteous manner.
12.
Ability to work well with others, and to assist the public
and staff cooperatively and courteously.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Answer
telephones and communicate through various media.
2. Data entry
of information.
3. Filing of
information into proper files.
4. Preparing
and scanning of documents.
5. Balancing
Food Services' cash register drawers; as well as preparing
bank deposits and drawer banks.
6. Perform
other duties as assigned by the Fiscal Services
Supervisor
