Technical Director shall define, communicate and direct the
execution of all technical needs for productions at Hopkins High
School. Technical Director will attend all crew calls, tech
rehearsals and director meetings as planned by mutual
agreement. Technical Director shall develop, train, and
advise students and volunteers in proper technical procedures and
support creating a tech team for performances. Tech
Director will advise and support all design and build efforts to
insure appropriate design, setup, transport and breakdown of
equipment. Technical Director will coordinate schedules and
budget, and coordinate facility use with district staff.
Other duties as assigned by Director of HS Theater.
Bachelors degree. Previous experience executing technical
needs. Possess a working knowledge of computer operated lighting,
sound, drafting, and video production programs.
