Title:                                        Junction City High School Academy Principal (BIT, FAHS, FSA, SET)

 

Qualifications:                         Current Kansas  License with endorsement appropriate to the assignment on file in the Devin Center

                                                Health certificate on file in Devin Center

The ability to travel freely between both academic campuses of the high school

 

Reports To:                             Principal

 

Purpose:         Provide instructional leadership to the academy by emphasizing and instilling that each student will be college/career ready.

            The employee performing the duties of this position is frequently required to walk, sit, talk, hear, bend, stoop, and reach.   The employee may be occasionally required to manually lift, move, or carry up to 35 pounds.   The employee is required to interact with staff and meet the demands of several different people.   The employee is responsible for the work output of others.   The employee frequently works extended hours.   Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

  4. Administers the academy's budgeted allocations.and allocates resources to ensure successful teaching and learning.

  27. Coordinate or supervise such support services as maintenance, security, food service, recreational programs, financial and accounting functions, library activities, etc.
  28. Participates in district and building level meetings where so requested, and such other meetings as are required or appropriate.
  29. Communicate the positive aspects of our school program to the public in word and deed.
  30. Perform other duties as assigned by the principal.

 

Term of Employment:             12 Months

 

Salary Range:                          Commensurate with qualifications and experience

 

Evaluation Frequency:            Job performance will be evaluated a minimum of 2 times per year.
