Northwest
Special Recreation Association (NWSRA) and its fundraising arm, Special Leisure
Services Foundation (SLSF), is seeking qualified applicants for the position of
Foundation Coordinator. This position will be responsible for fundraising activities to support the mission of Northwest Special Recreation Association.
The Foundation
Coordinator is responsible for:

Planning and executing SLSF golf
outings and assisting with other fundraising events.

Securing major gifts from
individual, corporate and foundation donors
·
Planning and evaluating ongoing
and long-range development efforts
·
Developing new strategies to
advance fundraising initiatives
·
Researching and preparing grant
proposals; managing grants, grant reporting and grant
compliance
·
Managing event volunteers
·
Establishing and continuing
relationships through ongoing community involvement.
Familiarity
with software including Microsoft Office, Adobe, and registration database a
plus.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university with preferred
concentration in business, marketing, communications or not-for-profit
management. Experience in fundraising with progressive development and event
planning experience, with a well-documented history of success is desired.
Exceptional organizational and planning skills; must be able to work both
collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment. Applicant must
be able to work a flexible schedule.
Hours and days: Monday - Friday,
other days based upon SLSF/NWSRA events. During event time additional hours may
be necessary. Hours based upon responsibilities, appointments, and
committee/event meetings or obligations.
