Description: District School Nurse
Job Summary: Successful Candidate will service 4 elementary and 2 secondary buildings - scheduled days for each building.
Qualifications: Valid Ohio School Nurse License required. The school nurse professional license, valid for 5 years for working with learners at all levels, shall be issued to an individual deemed to be of good moral character who has successfully completed an approved program of preparation; who holds a baccalaureate degree; who has been recommended by the dean or head of teacher education; who has successfully completed an examination prescribed by the State Board of Education; and who holds a current license to practice as a registered nurse issued by the Ohio Board of Nursing (Ohio Administrative Code 3301-24-05(F)(1) ).
