Description:
Perform functions to provide educationally related occupational therapy services to special education students. Works on acquistion or compensation for deficits in fine motor and sensory motor skills. This is a full-time position.
Job Summary:
Modify and aapt lessons as needed to meet individual students needs and IDEP goals.
Review student progress via assessments, maintain records of student growth through team meetings and IEP conferences.
Actively participate on problem solving and intervention teams to facilitate early involvement and resolution to learning or behavioral problems.
Provide modeling and training to teachers and teacher assistants.
Collaborate with other staff in planning, modifying, enhancing and implementing curriculum and school objectives.
Qualifications:
Work in general education and special education settings with students aged 3 - 21. Current Illinois Licensure and Pediatric experience are required. School experience is preferred.
Rate of Pay:
Salary commensurate with experience.
