JOB PURPOSE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
FUNCTION: Provides security and protection for students in buildings assigned; prevents vandalism and physical conflict.
SKILL RELATED This position requires the ability to interact and relate to students from a variety of ethnic and social backgrounds. Incumbent must possess a thorough understanding of school safety and disciplinary rules and regulations. Incumbent must have good listening, reading, and writing. Incumbent must be able to communicate effectively with others. Incumbent must have the ability to monitor performance/actions of others. Position will require incumbent to analyze potential situations and apply rules and knowledge to specific problems to produce sensible results. Incumbent must exercise good judgment in assessing student behavior and handling student disciplinary problems. Duty Days: 203
Schedule: 30 hours per week, 75%
SALARY: MT4 - $10.664-$13.330 hr
Salary determination will be based on documented experience.
