School Bus Drivers Pool (Part Time) (2012-2013 and 2013-2014)

Description

The Hoboken Board of Education seeks qualified, experienced School Bus Drivers to be added to the available pool of drivers, as follow:

• Successful candidates will be added to a pool of available drivers and will be called upon on an "as needed" basis
• Drivers will be offered assignments typically after the school day and primarily evenings and weekends 
• There is no guarantee of assignment nor is there any guarantee of working a minimum number of hours

Qualifications

• Qualified candidates must possess a valid Class B CDL License with Passenger and School Bus endorsements
• Eligible candidates will be required to successfully complete physical health and criminal background checks

Duties

• Safely transport students to/from school and school-related activities
• Assure that order is maintained in the transportation of students
• Carry out other delivery services for the district
• Maintain clean and safe vehicle

Compensation

• $17.17 per hour, as needed
