Job Summary: Under the general direction of the Assistant Principal, the Speech Clinician is responsible for providing language and speech services directly to qualifying students based upon MN State criteria in the areas of language, articulation, fluency and voice. Conducts speech and language assessments of student needs; interprets informal and standardized communicative measures; and participates in the development of individualized educational plans (IEP's) for students with eligible communicative needs
Qualifications: Requires a minimum of a Master's Degree in Speech/Language Pathology, Communicative Disorders or related subject area
License Requirements: Licensed by the State of MN as a Educational Speech-language Pathologist. Certificate in Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association is desired but not required.
