ROLE AND PURPOSE:
Assist teachers in providing
students with appropriate learning activities and experiences
designed to fulfill their potential for technology skills.
Enables student and staff to develop competencies and skills to
function successfully.
Provide staff with instructional/administrative technology
integration training and support.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum
Certification/Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Knowledge of technology
applications and equipment
Minimum Experience:
Experience or training in
instruction and technological field preferred.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND
DUTIES:

INSTRUCTIONAL
STRATEGIES

1.
Participates in and supports planning and
implementation for instructional technology and shows
written evidence of preparation as required.
2.
Cooperates with other members of the staff in
planning and
implementing instructional goals, objectives, and
methods in accordance with district
requirements.

PROGRAM
MANAGEMENT

3.
Maintains an inventory of supplies and materials;
notifies the principal when items need
replacing.
4.
Notifies and keeps the district technology department
informed on the necessary copyright licenses needed
for the lab and all campus instructional technology
and works collaboratively with the principal to
insure compliance at the campus level.
5.
Communicates needs for hardware, peripherals, and
software applications to principal and district
technology department
6.
Maintains technology budget as per campus guidelines
and facilitates the development of the annual
technology budget.
7.
Provides staff development training to professional
and paraprofessional staff in collaboration with
district technology staff.
8.
Services and maintains technology equipment and
software in the school as part of the district
workorder process.

Assists students and teachers in analyzing,
assessing, and improving computer skills.

district technology staff.

Maintains the campus website, posting current
information and removing outdated information;
supports teachers in keeping classroom websites and
communication systems current and relevant to the
needs of their students and other users.
