Duties: Serves on special education team and is responsible for administering protocols, report writing, participates in IEP meetings and goal writing. Collaborates with teachers, administrators, advisers, parents, counselors, psychologists, nurse clinicians and other staff to increase the effectiveness of the school in meeting the educational needs of students. Help students resolve personal, emotional and social problems as they interfere with their adjustment to school and their capacity to enjoy the fullest benefits of the education offered them.
Qualifications: IL Type 73 certificate with school social worker endorsement
