Job Title: SECONDARY LEVEL EBD TEACHER Job Description: Full-time (1.0 FTE) EBD Teacher at the Cannon River Education Center’s FOCUS program to work with students from grades 6-12 with an educational diagnosis of EBD in an off-site location level IV location. This position commences with the 2012-13 school year on August 27, 2012. Qualifications: Experience working with, middle and high school age EBD students; knowledge and experience writing transition IEP’s, knowledge of MN EBD criteria and the evaluation process including Functional Behavior Assessments; understanding the use of Positive Behavior Supports; knowledge of how to write a Behavior Intervention Plan; knowledge of due process procedures; ability to work with a team; training or willingness to be trained in Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI); excellent skills and knowledge in Structured Behavior Management Systems; and excellent oral and written communication skills.
