PAY:  According to GHAPS Teacher Salary Schedule "A"

 

HOURS:  Full Time - 1.0 F.T.E.

 

Applicants for this position must meet the following criteria:

 

  1. Must possess a current valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with special education endorsement in Autism preferred.
  2. Must meet federal standards of No Child Left Behind with Highly Qualified status.
  3. Must have experience working with students with autism or be enrolled in a certified program for an endorsement in Autism if there is no endorsement.
  4. Prefer demonstrated successful teaching experience in Special Education with students who are on the autism spectrum at the lower elementary (K-2) school level.
