Description: Special education teacher with knowledge and skills necessary to work in a self-contained model with those students with moderate/severe cognitive disabilities. Work in a kindergarten to grade 3 school in coordination with another teacher with a similar position. Job Summary: Work with in a self-contained environment with students who have severe/profound cognitive disabilities (DCD). This is a second program in a building so collaboration with the other DCD program is a must. Qualifications: Licensed in special education DCD with practical experience with techniques and strategies used with students with DCD. Candidates with other licenses and experience with the DCD severe/profound population will be considered.
