Description: This posiiton works with students with emotinal/behavior problems in settings III. The person hired must be a team player who works with other special education and general educaition staff in a collaborative program model. Knowledge of student assessment, IEP development, data collection and proactive strategies to help students academically and behaviorally is a must. Must be consistent, dependable and reinforcing with behavioral interventions. Able to be flexible with schedules and has good communication skills with staff, students and parents.
Experience: Previous experience with studetns with emotional/behaviro problems. Additional knowledge or experence with due process/assessments/methods and current strategies with students wtih EBD is a plus. Some training available. Preference: Must be dependable and committed with strong team skills.
Qualifications: Minnesota State Teaching Licensure in EBD.
