Position Information:

  • Full-time (1.0 FTE)
  • Serve as one of three teachers in the area of Autism Spectrum Disorders (Social Skills/Personal Communication / Problem Solving - . 6 FTE
  • Teaches two period (.4 FTE) in academic areas of Reading and Math

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a Minnesota teaching license in one or more disability areas, prefer LD 
  • Working toward or completion of ASD certificate / endorsement preferred
  • Would prefer a person with training or experience in Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Would prefer a person with a strong background in the areas of social communication and sensory integration
  • Previous experience working with adolescent population preferred
  • Possess excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills
  • Possess knowledge of grade level curriculum to be served
  • Ability to work in a team approach
