Illinois Administrative Certification or equivalent is preferred.
A Master's Degree in Educational Administration is required, and work beyond that level is desirable.
Candidate should have successfully demonstrated the ability to use leadership, supervisory and administrative skills to promote the educational development of students and staff.
Candidate should be able to focus on curriculum and instruction, supervision of students, staff development and evaluation of Staff.
Requirements also include using leadership skills to coordinate efforts of teachers, parents, community agencies, counselors and support staff to maximize personal and intellectual development of students.
Previous experience working with a diverse student population is also preferred.
