Qualifications Required:                                            

Qualifications Required:
1. Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education and/or a ZS endorsement
2. Five or more years of relevant job experience
3. Formal Training in Creative Curriculum Gold
4. Formal Training of the Program Quality Assessment Tool
5. Certified Reliable PQA Assessor
6. Knowledge of the Early Childhood Standards of Quality for Preschool (ECSQ-PK)
7. Knowledge and expertise about child development, adult learning styles, cultural diversity and quality improvements
8. Ability to interact in sensitive situations and to work effectively and collaboratively with a team to solve problems
9. Ability to make effective presentations before groups

Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
1. Follow the guidelines set forth in the GSRP Implementation Manual
2. Conduct program quality assessments several times throughout the year
3. Assist teachers in developing quality improvement goals, provide observation, feedback and follow-up

4. Remain current on all MDE, GSRP, ISD and DHS updates
5. Ensure that all GSRP classrooms are adequately staffed and supplied
6. Review all Special Ed. Referrals including speech and forward them appropriately
7. Act as Co-Chair of the Kindergarten Transition Committee
8. Prepare Parent/Staff Calendars
9. Maintain the LSD GSRP website, the parent handbook, the policies and procedures manual
10. Ensure Licensing for all GSRP classrooms
