11-101 1.0 Custodian Leader

Job Responsibilities:

• Performs custodial cleaning and maintenance duties as assigned
• Responsible for maintaining required building security
• Responsible for maintaining inventory of all custodial supplies
• Responsible for overseeing work of shift custodians
• Coordinates evening use of building by outside groups
• Responsible for keeping sidewalks, steps, etc. free of snow and ice
• Performs other duties assigned by immediate supervisor

Job Qualifications:

• Knowledge of materials, equipment and methods used in cleaning operations and grounds maintenance
• Ability to work effectively with staff, students, and public
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions
• Ability to climb ladders and perform physical labor required for cleaning duties including relative long hours while standing
• Ability to lift and carry minimum of 25 lbs.

Working Conditions: C-1, $16.50/hour, 12 month position, full time, Shift TBD
