ENGLISH TEACHER (6-8^th Grades)

LANSING STEM – RE-POST POSITION

Job:     #509/2370                                                     Posting Timeline: April 24 - May 2, 2012

Location:   Lansing STEM Academy                            Starting Dates: ASAP

                                                                                    Days Per Week: 2 days (3:30pm – 5pm)

Salary:  Per appropriate placement                                Hours Per Week:   3 hours  (1.50 hrs per day)

on the LSEA master agreement

                                                                                    Bargaining Union:  L.S.E.A.

Qualifications Required:                                            

1.  Completed Bachelor’s Degree

2.  Valid Michigan secondary certificate with an BA endorsement

3.  Successful teaching experience at the secondary level

4.  Demonstrated knowledge of youth and ability to teach them

5.  Ability to support and promote sound instruction

6.  Demonstrated ability to work effectively with parents, administrators, students and staff
