Valid Michigan secondary teaching certificate: EX required, and EX and an additional core content area (English or Science) certification strongly preferred
Training or willingness to be trained in AP Calculus preferred
Strong belief that all students can and will be successful
Strong knowledge of mathematics content
Able to plan effective, engaging lessons and use data to plan and adjust instruction
Ability to interact positively and motivate students
Able to work with colleagues to improve student outcomes
Willing to accept responsibility for student learning
Willing to teach a lesson to students as part of the interview process
