Qualifications:
1) Bachelor's Degree in Speech/Language Pathology/Communication Disorders from and accredited educational institution. (Acceptance into a graduate program in same is required prior to expiration of temporary certificate).
2) Certification in Speech/Language Pathology by the State of Florida and/or license in Speech/Language Pathology by the State of Florida, Department of Professional Regulations.
Must possess comprehensive knowledge about assessment and remediation of speech/language impairments. Must have knowledge of Federal, State and County guidelines as it relates to implementation of the speech/language impaired program. Must have the ability to function as a member of the educational team and have a strong desire to work with children. Must be able to travel to various schools as needs arise.
