Nature and Scope of Job: Installs, maintains, tests and repairs various types of desktop computer
hardware and software. Employee may have
access to confidential information during the execution of normal day-to-day
work.
Education, Licenses, Certification or Formal Training:
- Must have high school diploma or GED.
- Valid Colorado driver’s license.
Qualifications: Basic knowledge of the methods, materials, tools and
practices pertinent to this position. Basic
knowledge of Microsoft operating systems.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Basic knowledge of data networking principals. Basic troubleshooting skills. Ability to follow and understand oral and
written instructions. Ability to deal
tactfully with public and staff. Ability
to respond under pressure to immediate situations while maintaining courteous
and professional relationships with public and staff. Ability to perform work with a high degree of
accuracy, consistency, and thoroughness.
Ability to make decisions using good judgment and common sense. Ability to follow established safety
practices. Ability to work independently
and with others. Good math skills. Ability to perform all functions of the
position.
Essential Job Functions:

Drives
various fleet vehicles daily.
·
Accomplishes
duties under supervision of higher-level ISCST.
·
Performs
work according to printed information on
the Support Services work order system.
·
Responds to emergencies.
·
Installs, maintains, tests, and
repairs desktop computer hardware and software.
·
Provides user training for operating
systems and common application suites.
·
Uses positive verbal and non-verbal
skills at all times when working with district personnel and community members.
·
Responds to questions from callers
at the help desk; remotely assists staff and administration.
·
Performs
other duties as assigned.
