Imago Dei Middle School
is a private, tuition-free, Episcopal school for children of
low income families, located in downtown Tucson.
Imago Dei offers in
grades 5-8:
Small classes of 20 students, with 2 teachers (teaching ratio
of 10:1)
Extended school day (10hrs), 6 days a week (9-12 on Sat) &
11 month school year

Candidates for the math
position
will be able to teach math in both small and large groups, assign
and grade class work and homework, establish and communicate
clear objectives for all lessons, work with community partners
and volunteers. Imago Dei uses EveryDayMath as a curriculum
in all four grades.
Imago Dei has strong working partnerships with The University
of Arizona. These relationships allow our teachers to
incorporate new learning into the classroom, and allow for the
mentoring of students. An interest in fostering these
relationships is essential to being the right teacher for this
vocational call.
