Qualifications:
1.
Valid and appropriate teaching
certificate/license from the State of Ohio in Physical
Education
2.
Recent teaching experience elementary
grade level preferred.
3.
Knowledge of PRAXIS/Pathwise domains for
effective teaching.
4.
Knowledge of academic content standards
and learner outcomes in proposed Ohio physical education
curriculum.
5.
Knowledge of academic content standards
and learner outcomes associated with the Ohio Achievement
Assessments.
6.
Knowledge of how to integrate technology
into the curriculum.
7.
Willingness to meet the needs of all
students (e.g. at-risk, high achieving, special
education).
8.
Ability to communicate with students,
parents, teachers, counselors, and administrators.
9.
Willingness to work in school sponsored
and school related activities.
Ability and willingness to promote health and wellness in all
students.
