Description
The Rochester Community School Transportation Department is accepting applications for substitute bus drivers. Applicants must be 21 years old, a high school graduate or have a GED, be of good moral character, and can meet the mental and physical demands of driving a school bus.
Job Summary
Drives school buses and other school vehicles to transport students, faculty, and administrative staff.
Qualifications
You must possess the following qualifications: • Commercial Driver License-Class B • Indiana State School Bus Committee Certificate • DOT Interstate Medical Examiner's Certificate • Excellent Driving Record In addition, we will train selected candidates who possess the following qualifications: • Valid Driver's License • Excellent Driving Record • Willing to train with the Rochester Transportation Department • Willing to obtain your Commercial Driver License-Class B • Attend a three day Pre-Service School Bus Driver Safety Education Safety Course
