Write grade-level Science curriculum based on the revised NJCCCS via the NJDOE Curriculum Writing/UbD template.
Forensics Science Curriculum - Two (2) teachers
Responsibilities:
Complete assigned grade-level or content area curriculum using the NJDOE UbD template, which will identify standards, thematic units, Essential Questions, Enduring Understandings, and related materials, as well as a timeline for formative and summative assessments.
Qualifications:
NJ Teaching Certificate in related content area. Experience with curriculum development preferred.
Working Conditions:
Teachers will collaborate by grade level to complete the curriculum guide. Teachers will also meet as a team to ensure vertical articulation, as facilitated by Rich Delvechio. Writing will take place in May 2012 with completed curriculum guides being shared and distributed within respective departments in September 2012. Writers will also present curriclum to their respective grade levels and Curriculum Committee.
Stipend: $1500. Paid upon completion and approval of the curriculum guide by the Curriculum Office, no later than August 31st, 2012.
