Per Community Ed Master Agreement: $10.37/hour
Hours of Work:
AM classes: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays 8:45 - 11:45 and 12:15 -3:15
18 hours/week for 4 weeks. June 5 to June 28, 2012
Qualifications:
Education in and/or experience working with young children; good communication, cooperation, self-direction, and organizational skills; ability to work effectively with other staff members; punctuality and dependability. Is physically capable to work with young children; sitting on the floor and lifting.
Job Summary:
The Preschool Classroom Assistant aids in classroom preparation and the supervision of children during activities in the Kaleidoscope Preschool program; gives individual attention and support to each child based on varying needs and abilities; maintains a safe, clean, organized classroom environment; maintains records as assigned by preschool teachers; and performs other tasks and responsibilities as delegated by the supervisors.
