OPENING
JOB TITLE:
ROYAL OAK HIGH SCHOOL
Assistant Football Coach (3 positions available)
Season runs tentatively from August 1 - November 15, 2012
QUALIFICATIONS:
1.
Minimum, HS Diploma or equivalent
2.
Strong knowledge of the rules, regulations and
fundamentals of the sport
3.
Demonstrated successful coaching experience
required
4.
Successful high school football coaching
experience preferred
5.
Experience working with high school age
students preferred
6.
Strong organizational skills
7.
Strong communication skills
8.
Available for in-season and out-of-season
conditioning
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.
Attend and organize all games and practices;
supervise students before and after games and practices
2.
Instruct students on the skills and rules of
the game of football
3.
Carry out the rules and regulations of both
the MHSAA and OAA
4.
Enforcing and following all School District
Policies
5.
Foster positive relationships with parents and
community members
6.
Other duties as assigned by the Athletic
Director and Principal
SALARY:
Appropriate placement on ROEA Supplemental Schedule B
REPORTS TO:
Athletic Director/Building Principal/Head Football Coach
