POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Intermediate District 287 is seeking qualified candidates for a Japanese Instructor position. This position is accountable for facilitating learning, academic achievement and personal development by providing instruction to adolescents. Develops and implements curriculum and lesson plans. Utilizes technology to facilitate learning. Understands the varying learning styles and the needs of a diverse student population.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, current teaching licensure in Japanese (or waiver eligible) issued by the Minnesota Department of Education, japanese language skills in speaking, reading and writing, and english language skills. Experience teaching Japanese in MN high schools is preferred.
