Position Title: Up to 1.0 World Language Teacher

Brief Description:            Provide supplemental instruction in French and Spanish for the purpose of supporting student achievement and engagement in the world language curriculum. Help students develop requisite skills necessary for success in world language and utilize assessment data to support teachers as they work to ensure student learning. The successful candidate will work to establish an organized program to meet the objectives listed above.

Anticipated Start Date:    September 1, 2012, through June 30, 2013

Required Qualifications:

• Possession of (or proof of eligibility for) New York State certification in French 7-12. Dual certification preferred in Spanish 7-12. If applicant holds and out-of-state certificate, you must have applied for the New York State certification.

Minimum Salary:           $36,268 (2011-2012 full-time base)
