Position Title:                  1.0 Orchestra Teacher

Brief Description:            Lead the Ithaca High School orchestra program and select high school ensembles in the performance of orchestral works. Effectively prepare 

                                        lessons, instruct students, and evaluate and monitor students’ performance in order to effectively advance student achievement in the strings

                                        program.

Required Qualifications:

• Possession of (or proof of eligibility for) New York State certification in Music. If applicant holds and out-of-state certificate, you must have applied for the New York State certification.

Minimum Salary:       $36,268 (2011-2012 full-time base)
