Director of Facilities, Curriculum, & Support Services (Approximately 3000 students)
The Union R-XI School District is seeking an educational leader with a diverse educational background and proven instructional leadership skills and expertise. The Union Board of Education and community at large believe in the value of education and the mission to serve all students for whom we hold responsibility. The individual chosen to serve our students will be working with an established program of high expectations, a strong curricular base, and committed faculty/staff/community.
Building upon the existing District-level administrative team, this position holds a variety of responsibilities which encompass District-level management duties including facility management, district-level curriculum responsibilities, basic financial management relative to district-wide purchasing and procurement procedures, transportation management, human resources protocols and procedures. The individual will be working within a team environment with a comprehensive District-wide approach emphasized in all aspects of the position. Supervisory responsibilities will be designed to support and enhance building level activities focused on district-wide integration throughout the entire educational program.
The successful candidate will be able to provide evidence of implementation plans in these areas for use with Union R-XI students (utilizing student data available upon request) OR be able to provide fully developed implementation models of past success in prior educational experiences.
The Union R-XI School District desires to provide a fully-integrated academic program including co-curricular and extra-curricular programs. The successful candidate will be expected to become involved in the local community as we strive to teach our students the value of community, both locally and within the larger global society. The individual chosen for this position will be expected to live, work, and serve within the community as this position will require comprehensive service to our student body and their families.
