Direct all Media Center operation, including the development and
implementation of school and media center technology for teaching and
learning.
Provide for and collaborate with teachers for sequential and
integrated information literacy instruction, emphasizing the importance of
the research process.
Collaborate with staff in guiding students in acquiring skills to locate,
process, communicate, and evaluate information.
Create user-friendly, audience-appropriate approaches to research,
reference, and circulation in learning activities that integrate the use of
media resources and technology.
Provide leadership and staff development in effective use of school
and media technology.
Produce and manage a school-wide TV news show.
Create and provide reading interest and excitement in collaboration with the literacy team.
