     EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

       Valid Iowa teacher license with Secondary Art Endorsement

      QUALIFICATIONS/CHARACTERISTICS DESIRED:      

·        Expertise in effective teaching strategies                               

·        Ability to motivate students

·        Respect, understand and concern for students

·        Strong interpersonal communication skills for working with students, staff and parents

·        Effective human relationship skills

·        Commitment to student learning

·        Good classroom management skills

·        Successful High School teaching preferred

·        Passion for the arts
