Job Title: SPECIAL EDUCATION DCD-SEVERE/PROFOUND (DCD-SP) TEACHER - FARIBAULT HIGH SCHOOL Job Description: A full-time (1.0 FTE) Special Education DCD-SP Teacher at Faribault High School. This position commences with the 2012-13 school year on August 27, 2012. Qualifications: Experience working with DCD-Severe/Profound students preferred. Knowledge of due process procedures. Knowledge of assistive technology. Knowledge of the needs of medically fragile students. Experience and knowledge of writing IEP’s and secondary transition programming. Knowledge of functional curriculum and State Alternative Assessments. Knowledge and experience in progress monitoring. Ability to work with a team. Ability to direct and supervise paraprofessionals and educational assistants. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
