DESCRIPTION:
A Reading Specialist is a specially prepared professional who has responsibility for the literacy performance
of readers in general or struggling readers in particular. This instructor teaches as part of the educational team
in diagnosing reading difficulties and implementing appropriate literacy strategies for reading intervention.
Johnson & Mohawk Schools are interested in a Reading Specialist who must also be Bilingual and this person will
be a member of our Bilingual Team and provide literacy support to all our grades.
