Salary and benefits per the negotiated contract between the Eau Claire Board of Education and the Eau Claire Schools Classified Staff Federation Local 4018.

Special Education Assistants are required to have a special education aide license. The cost of the license is $75. The payment of this fee and obtaining the license is a Department of Public Instruction requirement and is a condition of employment. Recommended applicant must successfully pass a post-offer physical examination as conducted by Sacred Heart Hospital that will require lifting at least 50 pounds for elementary schools and 75 pounds for secondary schools.
