The EVSC seeks exceptional individuals who have demonstrated
capacity to serve as part of the school /district leadership team and provide
job-embedded and on-going professional development for teachers, staff, and administration
in a specific Title I Schools. The focus
of the coach’s work is to collaborate, mentor, and model how to use data,
incorporate best practice, and engagement strategies to enhance instructional
practice at the classroom level. Ideal
candidates will be student centered, collaborative, and have the skills
necessary to be a catalyst for change as an integral part of a high performing
leadership team.
Essential
Duties and Responsibilities:

Participating in all required coaching professional development
·
Identifying school teaching and learning needs,
barriers, weaknesses and strengths by analyzing
student data, and organizing and implementing problem-solving actions
with teachers through professional learning
teams
·
Facilitating school-based and/or district high quality professional
development including DataWise
·
Monitoring student progress using tools and strategies gained through professional development including DASH, Data Warehouse
·
Building and maintaining confidential relationships with administrators
and teachers
·
Develop, prepare and facilitate specific instructional
strategies throughout the district with other coaches based on area of
knowledge and skill set
·
Maintaining the focus of professional learning on teaching
and student learning by encouraging teams to work collaboratively to
achieve effective student achievement
·
Foster
relationships with building administrators to collaboratively provide
professional development aligned with school improvement plans/district
initiatives
·
Support
the planning, implementation, and articulation of the School-wide Improvement
Plan.
