Summer Employment Crew Leader Position will work with unemployed 18-25 year olds interested in careers in the green and/or landscaping field at CT State Parks. Program runs from mid-June to mid-September. Two years of college, military service or equivalent work experience; prior experience/training in leadership role; effective communication skills; technical skills including trail work, construction, power/hand tools; ability to provide work-related leadership relevant to conservation and outdoor recreation; ability to work effectively with media and public; project coordination; project documentation and reporting; ability to operate safely passenger vehicles (possibly heavy equipment). Valid driver’s license; ability to pass DMV record check.
