REPORTS

HVAC Leadman
I. GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Services,
maintains and repairs District equipment and property including,
but not limited to, HVAC equipment, pumps, motors, lighting,
plumbing, electrical distribution equipment, etc. Work is
performed during a 2nd shift timeframe.
II. EXAMPLES OF DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES
A. Working on cyclic preventive
maintenance work orders.
B. Working on repair work orders.
C. Working on emergencies.
D. Getting and distributing parts to
complete jobs.
E. Driving service truck to and from job
sites.
F. Snow removal on an as needed
basis.
III. TRAINING, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
REQUIREMENTS
A. High School diploma or equivalent.
B. Five years experience in utilities
trades service and maintenance.
C. Knowledge of materials, procedures,
tools, and equipment in multiple trades.
D. Must possess valid motor vehicle
operator's license and meet district driving standards
annually. See Board Policy EEBA-R for district
standards.
E. Ability to read and interpret
blueprints, sketches, drawings, owners manuals, shop manuals,
etc.
F. General knowledge of building
codes.
G. Ability to work safely and effectively
on ladders, scaffolds, rigging, and roofs of varying height as
required.
H. Must be able to climb, stoop, bend,
lift and carry equipment and supplies.
I. Must be able to fulfill
physical requirements of job.
J. Have EPS Universal Refrigerant
Certification or be able to pass test within six months of being
hired.
