Description: Food Service Head Chef/WHS Manager Job Summary: Overseeing district food service, catering and vending services, manage and lead staff, oversee all safety and sanitation standards and ensure all schools provide nutritious, safe, eye appealing and properly prepared food. Responsibilities: To ensure that the service of all meals is to the standard of the food service program, state and USDA specifications, complete and maintain all paper work as required by the program, supervise, train and audit staff in areas of food production and sanitation procedures, assist director with menu planning, purchasing and inventory control. Qualifications: Three years of culinary management experience, High School Diploma or GED, ServSafe certification or willing to become certified, strong leadership skills, proficient math and computer skills, able to lift 50 lbs.
