VACANCY: The Valley View Public School District is seeking seven individuals to fill Summer School Driver Education teaching positions for the 2012 summer school term to be held at Bolingbrook High School.
JOB SUMMARY: The teacher's duties include the scheduling of the BTW, simulation, and classroom instruction; coordination of applications for permit; entering data for the IWAS; and ensuring all information required for grade reporting and the Illinois Secretary of State information is collected and entered.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Applicant must hold appropriate State of Illinois Teaching Certificate with Driver Education Endorsement
- Successful high school teaching experience preferred
- Applicant must possess effective management skills
- Applicants must be available for the full summer teram (i.e., under no other contractual obligation during this time period)
WORKING CONDITIONS: Teacher will be paid $34.00 per hour. The session begins June 11th, 2012 and ends July 9th, 2012 (no class on July 4th, 2012). Hours are 7:30 a.m. to 1:45 p.m., Monday - Friday.
