NOTICE OF POSITION OPENING
The Eden Prairie School District is seeking applicants for an Educational Coordinator position to begin July 1, 2012. This is a key position that will assist the administration with a variety of student needs in order to assure success for all learners. Strong candidates will have demonstrated skills in creating a culturally inclusive environment, experience with coaching staff around culturally relevant pedagogical theories, and modeling the way as an equity leader to help Forest Hills reach district goals in reaching all students. This position includes scheduling/placement, and curriculum planning/implementation. Eden Prairie Schools is a school district with approximately 1,500 employees serving approximately 9,100 students. The district is recognized for its quality initiatives and its leadership in educational programming.
Position requirements:
· Elementary teaching license (Masters Degree preferred)
· Current continuing contract elementary classroom teacher
Qualifications:
· Minimum of three years successful teaching experience
· Advanced coursework and/or experiences in the areas of elementary curriculum
· Demonstrated educational and leadership skills
· Ability to interact and communicate positively with students, staff, and parents
Starting Salary:
EPEA Contract, Step and Lane (add ’l days and stipend)
