Welcome to Northbrook School District 27! District 27 is located in the northwest section of Northbrook, a suburb of Chicago. We are a K-8 district with one primary center (Hickory Point School, K-2), one intermediate center (Shabonee School, 3-5) and one junior high school (Wood Oaks, 6-8). District 27 is a community of 10,000 residents. The population of our District is primarily middle and upper-middle class. We have a longstanding tradition of excellence in education.
