Qualifications

 

  • Illinois Paraprofessional Certificate or ability to attain

  • Ability to work as part of an educational team to support student success

  • Patience, flexibility and ability to take initiative

  • Ability to problem solve and demonstrate perseverance

  • Organized and detail oriented

  • Strong time management skills 

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Support activities to improve student performance within the context of the PBIS structure; Be Respectful, Be Responsible, Be Safe

  • Deliver intervention programming to students as directed by certified staff

  • Conduct progress monitoring

  • Provide supervision to students throughout the school environment

  • Assist students with academic and/or behavioral skill practice and generalization

  • Collect intervention data

  • Implement accommodations and modifications for students

  • Carry out misc. support tasks as assigned
